SUBJECT:       Appointment of Town Representative to the Triangle Transit Authority Board of Trustees

 

DATE:             January 14, 2002

 

 

The Triangle Transit Authority has requested that the Town appoint a representative to fill the current Town vacancy on the Triangle Transit Authority’s Board of Trustees (see attached letter).  The previous appointee, Rachel Willis, whose term expired on November 30, 2001, agreed to serve until a new appointment was made.

 

The new appointment will expire on November 30, 2005.

 

Advertisements for this vacancy were placed in the Chapel Hill News.  Copies of the applications received and ballots are attached.
