SUBJECT:       Budget Amendment for Cablecasting of Council Budget Work Sessions

 

DATE:             February 11, 2002

 

 

At the Council’s January 28, 2002 meeting, the Council directed staff to provide for cablecasting and rebroadcasting of the Council’s budget work sessions.

 

The attached budget amendment would appropriate funds from the Council’s contingency funds to cover the costs associated with cablecasting the eight scheduled budget work sessions.

 

I recommend adoption of the attached budget ordinance.


 

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND “THE ORDINANCE CONCERNING APPROPRIATIONS AND THE RAISING OF REVENUE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2001 (2002-02-11/O-1)

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Budget Ordinance entitled “An Ordinance Concerning Appropriations and the Raising of Revenue for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2001” as duly adopted on June 25, 2001, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
