SUBJECT:       Ceremony Recognizing Chapel Hill Fire Department

DATE:             May 13, 2002

At tonight’s meeting, Mike Spath of the Charlotte Firefighters Association will present a citation of appreciation to the Chapel Hill Fire Department and the Chapel Hill Firefighters Association for the support given to the family of Josh Early and to the Charlotte firefighters while Firefighter Early was being treated at the NC Jaycee Burn Center at UNC Hospital.  Firefighter Early passed away at the Burn Center from injuries received at a house fire.
