SUBJECT:       Amendment to Council Calendar

 

DATE:             October 7, 2002

 

 

We have been made aware of two changes that could be made to the Council’s meeting calendar, and explain these changes in more detail below.  Adoption of the attached resolution would amend the Council’s calendar to reflect these changes.

 

2002

 

Add: October 30, 2002

 

• Wednesday, October 30, 2002, 7:30 p.m., Southern Human Services Center: Assembly of Governments Meeting.  The Orange County Board of Commissioners invites the Council to attend this meeting.  We will provide an agenda for the meeting upon receipt.  Adoption of the resolution would place the meeting date on the Council’s calendar.

 

2003

 

Delete: October 13, 2003

 

Add: October 15, 2003

 

• Wednesday, October 15, 2003, 7 p.m., Town Council Chamber: Regular Business Meeting.  This meeting was previously scheduled for October 13, 2003, but will coincide with the N.C. League of Municipalities meeting held in Winston-Salem next year.  

 

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2002-2003 TOWN COUNCIL MEETING CALENDAR (2002-10-07/R-2)

 

WHEREAS, the Council’s meeting calendar must be adjusted from time to time to allow for additional meetings or restructuring of previously scheduled meetings; 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill hereby amends its 2002-2003 meeting calendar as follows:

 

• Add: Wednesday, October 30, 2002, 7:30 p.m., Southern Human Services Center: Assembly of Governments Meeting.
• Delete: Monday, October 13, 2003, 7 p.m., Town Council Chamber: Regular Business Meeting.
• Add: Wednesday, October 15, 2003, 7 p.m., Town Council Chamber: Regular Business Meeting.
