SUBJECT:       Petition regarding Small House Rules within the Fourth Draft of the Land Use Management Ordinance

This is a petition requesting that the Council change the Fourth Draft of the Land Use Management Ordinance to apply the “Small House” rules to major subdivisions.

The threshold level is now at a 13-house subdivision, and I would like this number to be reduced. 

For example, I noted recently that a 12-lot subdivision application for Preliminary Plat Approval did not meet the threshold that triggers compliance with the floor area restrictions of Section 13.11 of the current Development Ordinance.  Reducing this threshold to below 13 would bring such an application under the Small House ordinance rules.
