SUBJECT:        Nominations to Various Advisory Boards and Commissions

 

DATE:              May 28, 2003

 

 

Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill vacancies on the Board of Adjustment, Community Design Commission, Greenways Commission, Historic District Commission, Library Board, Northside Neighborhood Conservation District Advisory Committee, Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning Board, Public Arts Commission, and the Transportation Board.  Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.

 

Appointments to the Historic District Commission, Library Board, Northside Neighborhood Conservation District Advisory Committee, Public Arts Commission, and the Transportation Board, are scheduled to be made tonight.

 

Appointments to the other listed Boards are scheduled for June 9, 2003.

 

Copies of the applications are attached.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2003-05-28/R-2)

 

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

 

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
