SUBJECT:       Appointment to the Technology Committee

 

DATE:             June 23, 2003

 

 

Tonight, the Council may make an appointment to 1 vacancy on the Technology Committee.

 

The Technology Committee is requesting that the Council adopt the attached resolution to extend the second term of Doug Noell for one year.  His term is set to expire June 30, 2003, and adoption of the resolution would extend his term until June 30, 2004.  Mr. Noell’s expertise will be of great value as the Technology Committee participates in review and planning of the Town Operations Center in the coming year. 

 

Copies of the application and ballots are attached.

 

A recommendation from the Technology Committee is also attached.

 

 

A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE TERM OF DOUG NOELL ON THE TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE FOR ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR (2003-06-23/R-24)

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council hereby extends for one year the term of Doug Noell on the Technology Committee, with an expiration date of June 30, 2004.
