A RESOLUTION REFERRING THE TOWN MANAGER’S REPORT AND COMMENTS FROM THIS MEETING TO THE HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION FOR RECOMMENDATION ON LANGUAGE THAT WOULD ESTABLISH A PRESERVATION AGREEMENT ON TOWN PROPERTY AT EAST FRANKLIN AND BOUNDARY STREETS (2005-10-10/R-11)

WHEREAS, a petition has been presented proposing the establishment of a historic preservation agreement on the site of the old Town library at East Franklin and Boundary Streets; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council refers the petition, comments from this meeting and the Town Manager’s report of October 10, 2005, to the Historic District Commission to collaborate with Town staff in developing language that would establish a preservation agreement on the Old Library.
