A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE MANAGER TO REPORT BACK TO THE COUNCIL ONCE THE NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION RESPONDS FULLY TO THE COMMUNITY PETITION PRESENTED BY RESIDENTS OF DOGWOOD ACRES NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNING SAFETY AND TRAFFIC ON DOGWOOD A

A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE MANAGER TO REPORT BACK TO THE COUNCIL ONCE THE NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION RESPONDS FULLY TO THE COMMUNITY PETITION PRESENTED BY RESIDENTS OF DOGWOOD ACRES NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNING SAFETY AND TRAFFIC ON DOGWOOD ACRES DRIVE (2006-06-12/R-9b)

WHEREAS, on January 9, 2006, the Council accepted and referred a petition from residents of the Dogwood Acres neighborhood; and

WHEREAS, Dogwood Acres Drive is a State road and outside the control of the Town; and

WHEREAS, the NCDOT has not yet fully responded to all of the requests in the petition;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council directs the Town Manager to report back to the Council once the NCDOT responds to all of the requests in the petition.
