The purpose of this report is to forward to the Town Council the applications received for service on an advisory board or commission or other committee. These applicants have been determined to be eligible to serve.
Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill vacancies on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, Board of Adjustment, Cemeteries Advisory Board, Community Design Commission, Chapel Hill Active Living by Design Partnership, Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission, Human Services Advisory Board, Justice in Action Committee, OWASA Board of Directors, Personnel Appeals Committee, Planning Board, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Transportation Board. Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.
Appointments to the Community Design Commission are scheduled for tonight.
Appointments to the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission are scheduled for the September 22, 2008 meeting. All other boards are currently unscheduled.
