Title of Agenda Item: Change Order for the Purchase and Delivery of Transit Buses
Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on the multi-year Gillig Corporation contract. This request is made at this time to take advantage of federal stimulus funding to reduce local funding requirements. This requires meeting federal timing guidelines.
Fiscal Note: Funds to be used for this project are 100% funds coming from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. No local funds are required.
Staff Recommendation(s): That the Council adopt the attached resolution to increase the project total cost by change order for the Purchase and Delivery of Transit Buses.
