| Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on the request for authority to apply for ARRA grants. | |||
|

| Fiscal Note: Approval of this item will expedite the application and execution of grants funded by the ARRA. Each grant will have specific requirements including those for matching funds. In addition there may be administrative and project management expenses associated with each grant. We anticipate that matching requirements and other costs will either be covered with existing funds or will require adoption of a budget ordinance amendment. | |||
