| Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on accepting the base bid and awarding a contract for renovations in 15 apartments and site work at the South Roberson Street public housing neighborhood. | |||

| Fiscal Note: Funding for this project work is available through the Housing Capital Fund Grant, Housing Capital Fund Stimulus Grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and the Community Development Block Grant. The total budget for this project is $1,001,000. | |||

| Recommendations: That the Council adopt a resolution accepting the base bid, and award a contract to Carl Garris & Son, Inc. in the amount of $825,000 for comprehensive renovation work in all 15 apartments including construction of front porch roofs and site rehabilitation work at the South Roberson Street neighborhood. | |||
