SUBJECT: Comments from Advisory Boards on the 2004-19 Capital Improvements Program
DATE: January 28, 2004
For your consideration we are forwarding comments from Advisory Boards regarding the development of the 2004-19 Capital Improvements Program. We invited comments from Advisory Boards at this early stage to provide an opportunity for input before the first forum on the Capital Improvements Program, being conducted tonight.
Advisory Boards will have a second opportunity to comment on the Capital Improvements Program, from March 29 to April 19, beginning after the Preliminary Capital Improvements Program is submitted to Council on March 24.
Comments submitted by Advisory Boards are attached. The Housing and Community Development Advisory Board and Transportation Board have elected not to submit comments at this time. The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board and Community Design Commission are scheduled to discuss whether to submit comments at their meetings on Tuesday, January 27, 2004.
