SUBJECT: Response to Request from Habitat for Humanity to Modify the Terms of a Performance Agreement for Sunrise Road

On February 14, 2005, we presented a memorandum to the Mayor and Town Council in response to a petition from Habitat for Humanity regarding extension of the Town’s Performance Agreement with Habitat for Humanity for the Sunrise Road development (Please see Attachment 1).
In a letter dated February 10, 2005 that was presented to the Council on February 14, Doug Schworer, a representative of the Sunrise Coalition requested that the Council delay its decision on this matter to allow further time for review by citizens (Please see Attachment 2).
The Council agreed to delay its discussion on the request from Habitat until March 7, 2005. The Council also agreed to extend the Town’s Performance Agreement with Habitat from February 28, 2005 until March 28, 2005.
Attached please find a reissued memorandum for the Council’s consideration.
