SUBJECT: Effect of Recommended Pay Increases for Employees at Various Points in the Pay Plan

A Council member requested information about how the pay increases recommended by the Manager would affect employees.
Attached is a chart which shows how the increases would affect employees in eight representative salary grades. The chart shows the effect on new employees, an employee at step 1 in the range, and employees with salaries above the Job Rate who receive different performance ratings.
