SUBJECT: University Response to Citizen Petition regarding Properties in 600 Block of West Cameron Avenue

At its regular meeting on November 25, 2002, the Council received an oral petition from Mr. Cameron Hill, who reported that the University had contracted to purchase two residential properties on the north side of the 600 block of Cameron Avenue. He further stated his understanding that the University intended to use the properties for parking lots. As directed by the Council, we asked for information about the University’s plans for these properties (Attachment 1). The University’s response is included as Attachment 2.
