SUBJECT: Comments from Advisory Boards on the 2003-18 Capital Improvements Program

For your consideration we are forwarding comments from Advisory Boards regarding the development of the 2003-18 Capital Improvements Program. We invited comments from Advisory Boards at this early stage to provide an opportunity for input before the first forum on the Capital Improvements Program, being conducted tonight.
Advisory Boards will have a second opportunity to comment on the Capital Improvements Program, from March 27 to April 18, beginning after the Preliminary Capital Improvements Program is submitted to Council on March 26.
Attached are comments from Advisory Boards that reviewed the Preliminary Report and submitted comments. The Housing and Community Development Advisory Board did not elect to submit comments at this time. The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board is to discuss whether to submit comments at its January 28, 2003 meeting. The Transportation Board and Community Design Commission may forward recommendations at a later date.
